Trip to the British Virgin Islands

I took a trip with the Kindred Spirit crew to the BVI's. The voyage was truly fantastic. From the first stop on Norman Island (the real "Treasure Island"), to the great snorkeling at The Indians, to the beautiful white sand beach on Jost Van Dyke and the famous Soggy Dollar Bar Painkillers, each stop was more spectacular than the last. My favorite was the Baths in Virgin Gorga, a natural wonder of granite cathedrals and crystal blue pools.

Getting to all of these great spots via a gorgeous, comfortable boat with a full kitchen, private cabins and heads and great tunes made the whole experience almost too good to be true. It was the best sailing I've ever done. ...Island Girl !!!

Wonderful "Kindred Spirit" Day Trip

"We absolutely loved our day on the boat. I wouldn't have changed a thing. We had 2 snorkeling opportunites & really felt like if we'd asked for more time or less time that Dan would've been happy to do what we asked. We loved where the boat took us. The food was great.

The taxi ride was great. It was easy to find as there were tents set up right off the pier to take us to Christianstead & tents in Christianstead set up to take us back to our ship. The driver told us where to go to find the tents in Christianstead. It was a block or 2 from the harbor. It was $12 per person round trip, so not bad at all.

We loved our day on Kindred Spirit and have already talked about coming back sometime to do a 3 day trip. Dan was so nice & welcoming & the young guy (forgot his name) was wonderful as well. We would recommend it for sure! .....Thanks! ...Danielle"

My girlfriend, two friends and I went on a day sail with Captain Dan on the Kindred Spirit in February. We spent two weeks in the islands and the sailing trip was definitely the hightlight of the trip.

The food was wonderful, as we had caught a snapper will sailing. Capt. Dan filleted and grilled the fish right there on the boat!! It was delicious! He has anything an adult or kid would need on a charter trip and we even took the skiff out to a sandy spit for a swim and adventure.

I would highly reccommend The Kindred Spirit as a "don't miss" when on in the islands. We enjoyed it so much that we are coming back down for a 3 day 2 night charter with the kids over the Fourth of July this year! We wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed out day on the cat! We will be back for a longer sail. You do a great job!!

"WOW, what a beautiful island and waters. Can't wait to go back. We booked a private catamaran with internationalcharterservices .

Amazing catamaran only with our family of 6. Got to snorkel two different places, fabulous lunch and drinks provided on the most luxurious boat we have ever been on!

Captain Dan took us to secluded beaches to snorkel, crystal clear blue water and beautiful scenery everywhere. It was so nice to get away from the overcrowded ships excursions, and I can't rave about Kindred Spirit enough. This cat has 4 queen berths and I felt like a queen for a day!"

What a fabulous Adventure of a Lifetime! All in a matter of a few days, our group experienced beautiful islands and scenery, amazing fish while snorkeling, gorgeous sunsets, great music playing all day long, some "pirates" (Willie T's), dolphins, great cocktails and wonderful food prepared by a talented chef! (You try cooking over open flame when the boat rolls back and forth!!!) Always calm, cool and collected, Captain Dan didn't miss a beat! Neither did his amazing wife Julie and staff members Rhona and George. We can't say enough how attentive and wonderful they all were to us! We Bostonians knew we were going to have a good time on this trip, but we had no idea how well the personalities would gel on the boat, and how much fun and adventurous the boating lifestyle can be. Even getting in and out of the dingy without falling was fun, and navigating without lights at night between boats was pretty interesting! For anyone looking for a fabulous and unique vacation that you can personalize to your interests, this is definately it! We highly recommend Kindred Spirits to anyone looking for a chartered experience, and we look forward to going on that boat again as soon as possible. Great attentive service, beautiful accomodations, warm sun, cool breezes, fabulous food and lots of wonderful memories!
